Your responsibilities:
- Support of the regional SQM of the commodity metal, chemical or electrics/electronics
- Cooperation with Supplier Quality organizations in other regions and global functions
- Method development, ensuring the constant improvement
- Target achievement and reporting of supplier/project and series quality
- Coordination with the other groups of Supplier Quality, Factor Quality, Preventive Quality, Logistics, Development, Purchasing
- Ensuring Supplier Quality Excellence for all customers of SQM (project, project purchasing, plants)
- Ensuring the quality goals of suppliers in Europe to improve customer satisfaction and reduce quality and field costs
- Ensuring the evaluation of potential new suppliers for parts/components by VDA 6.3 Potential analyses in coordination with SQAC
- Ensuring the timely release of supplier parts according to specifications by coordinating the SQM tasks in regional development projects as well as supporting global development projects
- Ensuring the continous improvement of supplier performance at MAHLE BU3 Europe in projects and in the series by measuring key figures and deriving improvement programs
- Ensuring the first-level and second-level complaint management of the sustainable correction of supplier errors
Your profile:
- Engineering degree (mechatronic, electrical, electronics)
- Written and spoken communication skills in Eglish
- Strong knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and VDA 6.2 and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)
- Understanding manufacturing processes of electrical/electronic assemblies; knowledge of lean manufacturing
