The Institute of Power Engineering and Applied Electrical Engineering at FEI STU Secured a Grant from the Pontis Foundation through the Slovak Transmission System Foundation Fund
The project titled "Transmission and Distribution Lines – Fault Conditions" was developed by the staff of the Institute of Power Engineering and Applied Electrical Engineering (ÚEAE) under the leadership of Assoc. Prof. Žaneta Eleschová, PhD.
The aim of the project was to increase both the quantity and quality of laboratory exercises for core courses in the Power Engineering study program, specifically focusing on resolving fault conditions in transmission and distribution lines.
With the financial support received, the Institute's laboratories were able to acquire new equipment: a three-phase artificial network with a range of 8-100V + 50-525V, 40-100 Hz, 20kVA, and three autotransformers capable of adjusting AC voltage in the range of 0-230V/20A.
